Rocketing past five million views within its opening 72 hours, the first of two electrifying Synapse Virtual Production music videos for international sensation, Jackson Wang, hit the internet like a storm.
The stage was set in a post-apocalyptic world meticulously designed using Unreal Engine, where cityscapes lay decimated, skyscrapers crumbled into ruins, fires roared across the landscape, and cars lay tossed like discarded toys. At the heart of it all, an imposing industrial throne room sat nestled within a forsaken nuclear power plant.
The combined team breathed life into this desolate world with an immense LED wall, 20ft high, 53ft wide, 32ft deep, comprised of nearly 1,300, +2.3 pixel-pitch panels.
Leveraging state-of-the-art virtual production techniques and technology ensured a visually seamless transition from foreground to background, allowed all VFX to be done in-camera with minimal post-production work, and amazingly, made it possible to wrap the entire shoot in just two whirlwind days. The project stands as testament to the power of virtual production when brought to its full potential.
