UX Designer Part-time | Paid Internship Rochester, NY

Apply Now

Here at Optic Sky Productions, we continually strive to create content we’re proud of with a team made of rock stars, legends, wizards, and/or dope product designers. If you’re the latter (or, preferably, all of the above), we have good news! We’re looking for an artist who can deliver impactful content in a structured workflow with quick turnarounds, all while collaborating with both clients and our internal team.

As our UX Design intern you will have the opportunity to design (and develop) relevant and meaningful prototypes for web, mobile, and new technologies. The team at Optic Sky will guide you through critique and feedback sessions that assist you with your journey branching out into new mediums. You’ll benefit from part time hours, an accessible supervisor, and a friendly productive work environment. You’ll learn skills that are relevant to entry level positions in the industry, all while expanding your current portfolio. You’ll finish your summer having worked on multiple projects from concept to completion. You will also be able to sit in on internal meetings, giving you an inside scoop on the business and how it works!

Optic Sky Productions is a commercial film production and post-production house, located off University Ave in the Neighborhood of the Arts. Just 20 minutes from RIT and a few blocks from downtown, The Public Market, and Village Gate. We are a small, dedicated team, who value trust, hard work and collaboration. We care about our clients and our employees. We move fast, think big, and we never settle. If you don’t like to settle, click the button.
